We are pleased to announce that Amigdala\nCenter has signed a cooperation agreement\nfor the implementation of education in\nphilosophical counseling with the U.S. Logic-\nBased Therapy & Consultation Institute, the\nEuropean Logic-Based Therapy &\nConsultation Institute, and the Croatian\nAssociation for Philosophical Practice. This\ncollaboration marks an important step forward\nin our efforts to enhance and expand the\ninfluence of philosophical counseling in Croatia\nand the region. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The U.S. Logic-Based Therapy & Consultation\nInstitute was founded in 1985 by Elliot D.\nCohen with the aim of deepening the\nconnection between logic and philosophy with\nREBT (Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy).\nInitially focused on clinical research and\npublications, the Institute joined the NPCA(National Philosophical Counseling\nAssociation)<\/em>in 1992, which is part of the\nAmerican Philosophical Association (APA). Since 2005, the LBTC Institute has been\nrunning the Logic-Based Therapy (LBT)\nprogram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The European Logic-Based Therapy &\nConsultation Institute (ELBT&CI), established\nin 2022, is a partner and franchise holder of\nthe Logic-Based Therapy & Consultation\nInstitute (LBT&CI) and has become part of a\nstrong global network for training and\nconsultation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Croatian Association for Philosophical\nPractice has, since its inception, gathered\nenthusiasts and practitioners with the aim of\npromoting philosophical counseling in Croatia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In addition to providing education in\nphilosophical counseling, we will collaborate\nas partners to raise awareness about the need\nand benefits of such practice and the\ncontributions it can make in the field of mental\nhealth protection through the organization of\nworkshops, guest lectures, training, and\ncertifying instructors for teaching LBT, and\nvarious other activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Upon completion of the philosophical\ncounseling education at Amigdala Center,\nparticipants will receive a certificate also\nendorsed by the LBTC Institute, which further\nvalidates their knowledge and skills in the field\nof philosophical counseling.
