Amigdala in the community

Collaboration with other institutions

Embeddedness in the community

Since the beginning of our activities, we have been deeply embedded in the community and networked with various relevant participants who engage in support work and provide different forms of assistance to people in disadvantaged positions and need.

A key element of our success

Collaboration with other institutions is one of the key elements of our success because, with their help, support, and open doors for knowledge expansion and exchange, we are able to provide our participants with the best experience and learning outcomes. Support and assistance are mutual, and we support our partner institutions in various ways - by involving them in the organization and promotion of events, periodic donations, and so on.

Practice - A Bridge Between Theory and Real Life

As part of our education programs, a mandatory component is professional practice, which is carried out in various types of institutions - healthcare institutions, social care institutions, preschools, schools, and other types of institutions. The Amigdala Center has established cooperation with more than 30 institutions where participants can accumulate hours of professional practice, and we are continuously focused on further expanding cooperation. These institutions provide participants with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in the real world, enriching their experience and preparing them for future independent work.

Partner collaboration and other forms of cooperation

Collaboration with institutions is not limited to traditional forms of professional practice but also includes various other forms of partnership and cooperation with organizations. At the beginning of 2024, as a partner in the project by the Faculty of Philosophy and Religious Studies of the University of Zagreb, "What Drives Human Behavior?", we participated in organizing a series of workshops titled "School of Emotions and Motivation." The Amigdala Center collaborated with the Family Center of the Faculty of Philosophy and Religious Studies, during which our associates and participants published articles on various topics related to mental health and psychosocial support. This form of cooperation encourages the exchange of ideas and contributes to the dissemination of professional knowledge and information. The Amigdala Center also collaborates and provides support through periodic donations, contributing to the work of certain institutions in the community. This form of cooperation not only signifies financial contribution but also reflects a commitment to social responsibility, supporting institutions that contribute to the well-being of the community.
